Sankranthi Sambharalu was celebrated with joy at Ramachandra College of Engineering, Eluru, on 10th January 2025 to uphold traditional values and bring festive spirit to the campus. The event began with a vibrant Rangoli competition, followed by Haridasu performance, Bhogipallu distribution, folk songs, kite flying, pot breaking, and tug of war, ensuring active participation from students and faculty. Principal Dr. M. Muralidhara Rao emphasized the importance of celebrating traditional festivals to stay connected with cultural roots. The event concluded with prize distribution for Rangoli and traditional games winners. Overall, the celebration created a festive atmosphere, fostering unity and cultural bonding among students and staff while reminding everyone of the festival’s traditions and values.
