Legal Awareness Programme sponsored by National Commission by Women was organized by Kalpana Chawla Women Empowerment Cell. This programme is meant for creating awareness to girl students, staff and female workers about family law, cyber law and to gain knowledge on legal aspects for women protection. The program was started with the Prayer song by Ms.Pujitha of Electrical Engineering Department. Later Guests were invited to the stage with a welcome dance by Ms.Sowmya of ECE Dept., All the guests were invited on to the dias and Lamp was lit by the Chief Guest Mr.Paideswara Rao, DSP, Women Police Station. Inaugural address was given by Convener Dr.K.V.Padma Priya, followed by Welcome Remarks of Dr.Dola Sanjay, Principal , Ramachandra College of Engineering. Dr.K.Anuradha, Assistant Professor, Siddhartha Law College addressed the gathering on constitutional Law and explained the importance of family laws.
