The RCE-Central Library celebrated National Librarian's Day on August 12, 2025, to honor Dr. S. R. Ranganathan, the "Father of Library Science in India." Coordinated by Dr. Rayapudi. Ramesh, the event highlighted the vital role of librarians and libraries. The day began with an online quiz. The main ceremony, held from 3:00 to 4:00 PM, had 60 students and 5 faculty members in attendance. SK. Azeeza Farhana started the afternoon session with a welcome note. Dr. Subramanya Sarma S, Dean of Academics, spoke about the importance of books, calling a library a "hospital" for the mind. Dr. Muralidhara Rao M, Director-Principal, followed, discussing the Five Laws of Library Science. The event concluded with a prize distribution for the quiz winners, who received Rs. 500 (first prize), Rs. 300 (second prize), and Rs. 200 (third prize). Dr. Rayapudi. Ramesh gave the vote of thanks, summarizing the guest talks and providing an overview of the library.
