The Department of ECE organized a two‑week hands‑on workshop titled “Basics of Electrical & Electronics Engineering” from 16 October to 6 November 2025 for first‑year students, with nearly 175 participants. The program introduced fundamental concepts and practical skills such as resistance colour coding, soldering, battery‑operated LED/Buzzer circuits, smart night lamp, clap switch, and traffic light control. Its objectives were to help students identify components, practice circuit construction, and implement simple electronic projects. The sessions combined theory with practical exposure, beginning with a formal inaugural event led by the Principal, ensuring students gained both confidence and foundational knowledge in core electrical and electronics engineering.
