The laboratory orientation programme was conducted to familiarize faculty members with laboratory objectives, experiments, equipment usage, and effective conduct of practical sessions. It aimed to enhance faculty preparedness, ensure uniformity in laboratory instruction, and standardize assessment practices in line with Outcome-Based Education principles. The programme included discussions on laboratory syllabi, experiments, learning outcomes, safety protocols, and evaluation methods. Faculty members actively interacted, shared best practices, and addressed challenges related to experiment execution, student engagement, and assessment. Overall, the programme supported effective laboratory teaching–learning and continuous improvement within the department.
